Homieva ("Homieva," "we," "us") connects homeowners with contractors and helps contractors run their business. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices, across our website and mobile apps (the "Services").

Information we collect

• Account & profile: name, email, phone, company, role (homeowner / contractor / GC), and profile details you provide.
• Project & job data: project descriptions, photos, bids, estimates, contracts, invoices, reviews, and messages you exchange.
• Payments: subscription and purchase records. Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and, for in-app purchases, by Apple / Google — we do not store full card numbers.
• Usage & device: app/website interactions, device type, and diagnostics, used to operate and improve the Services.

How we use your information

• Provide the marketplace and contractor tools (matching, bids, estimates, payments, reviews, warranties).
• Process subscriptions and generate your billing and year-end tax-prep summaries.
• Send service messages and, with your consent, product updates.
• Maintain security, prevent fraud, and comply with law.

How we share it

• Between users: homeowners and contractors see the information needed to transact (e.g., a bid, a profile, a message).
• Service providers: Google Firebase (auth, database, hosting, storage), Stripe (payments), and analytics/communications vendors — bound to process data only for us.
• Legal: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep information while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, and accounting purposes. You can request deletion (see below).

Your rights & choices

You may access, correct, export, or delete your information, and opt out of marketing messages. To make a request, email privacy@homieva.com. Depending on your location (e.g., CA/EU), additional rights may apply.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to protect your data.

Children

The Services are for users 18 and older and are not directed to children.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post the new date here. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email.
