Terms of Service

Effective October 16, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Digital Summit LLC, which operates Homieva ("Homieva," "we," "us"), covering homieva.com and the Homieva iOS and Android apps (the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Services.

The marketplace

Homieva connects homeowners with independent contractors. Contractors are not employees or agents of Homieva. We are not a party to the agreements homeowners and contractors make, and we don't guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of any work. Verify licensing and insurance before hiring.

Accounts

Provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and you're responsible for activity on your account. You must be 18+.

Subscriptions & purchases

• Paid contractor plans (Contractor Pro, General Contractor Elite) are billed through Stripe (web) or Apple/Google in-app purchase (mobile). Subscriptions renew until cancelled. Homeowner and Laborer accounts are free and are never charged.
• We do not sell paid placement, priority ranking, lead purchases, or visibility upgrades — your plan is your plan. Manage or cancel subscriptions in your account or the App Store / Google Play.
• Annual spending summaries are provided for convenience and are not tax or accounting advice.

30-Day Money-Back Guarantee & refunds

• 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (web subscriptions): if you're not satisfied with a paid Homieva subscription bought on homieva.com, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial subscription purchase.
• The guarantee applies only to the initial purchase of a subscription. Renewal charges after the first 30 days are not automatically eligible for a refund.
• Web refunds are processed through Stripe; contact us via the Support page within the 30-day window. Subscriptions bought in the iPhone or Android app are billed by Apple or Google, and refunds for them are decided by Apple or Google under their own policies — contact us and we'll help you request one.
• Launch Pass: during our introductory launch period, Contractor Pro and General Contractor Elite are free until the end date shown in the app. No payment method is collected and nothing is charged automatically when the Launch Pass ends; to keep paid features afterwards you choose a subscription yourself. Your projects and records stay available either way.

Founder's Circle lifetime memberships

• A Founder membership is a one-time payment for lifetime access to the plan purchased (Contractor Pro or General Contractor Elite) for as long as Homieva operates that plan or its successor, without a recurring subscription fee.
• Founder memberships are final and non-refundable, and the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee does not apply to them.
• A Founder membership is a software license for one business account. It is not equity, ownership, an investment or a share of Homieva's revenue, and it cannot be transferred or resold.
• Seats are limited to the numbers shown at purchase. Applying does not reserve a seat until payment is complete.

Payments between homeowners and contractors

Today Homieva does not process, hold or pay out project payments. Homeowners pay contractors directly, and either side can record those payments in Homieva as a record only. When online payment processing becomes available, a project payment Homieva processes (for example a deposit, draw or final payment) will be handled by Stripe and paid to the contractor's connected Stripe account. Homieva is not a bank, escrow agent or party to the contract between homeowner and contractor, and payment disputes about the work are between those parties.

Drafting and assistant features

Automatically generated drafts (such as estimate line items and assistant answers) are suggestions to review, not professional, legal, tax or engineering advice. You are responsible for the quantities, prices, permits and terms you send to a customer.

Acceptable use

No unlawful, fraudulent, infringing, or abusive activity; no scraping or interfering with the Services. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Reviews & content

You own the content you post but grant Homieva a license to display and operate it within the Services. Reviews must be honest and based on real experiences.

Disclaimers & liability

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homieva disclaims all implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for the work, conduct or disputes of homeowners and contractors. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid Homieva in the 12 months before the claim.

Ending your account

You can stop using the Services and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms or put other users at risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.

Changes & contact

If we change these terms we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you in the app or by email before a material change takes effect. Questions: support@digitalsummitlabs.com.
